Computer Science teacher Mike Zamansky was recently featured on the BetaBeat website discussing his efforts to provide better instruction for future programmers in the city's high schools.  Zamansky has launched a program called CSTUY to reach students outside of the school.

The Stuyvesant Spectator Opinions Department is encouraging interested alumni who would like to share their thoughts on any topic (preferably related to Stuyvesant or one which will interest the Stuyvesant community) to contact their Opinions editors as soon as possible.  Spectator Opinions has traditionally served as a channel for the student body through which they could express their views on a wide range of topics. Spec Opinions is now expanding this opportunity to alumni who would like to write a ~500 word article in an upcoming issue.
